Please remember that we assign rooms in the order we received your application and fee. All of our rooms are great, so even if you have the most recent application date you will still get a great room! We ask that you pretend you have the oldest date when filling out your room request form because you never know how the puzzle will fall into place!
Through the breezeway beyond The Apartments is Grant House, which houses twenty-seven residents in nineteen single, double and triple occupancy rooms. Grant House, previously known as “New House”, was totally remodeled in 1998 and now has mostly private baths. It has a living room and den where residents can study or watch TV. Although Grant House residents enjoy our full meal plan, there is a dining room and full kitchen for the residents’ use, which includes a coffee maker with coffee on demand. A computer room, laundry room and exercise room are also conveniently located on the first of two floors. An outside courtyard has been a haven for studying in nice weather and a great place to relax outdoors. The rooms that begin with a “1” are on the first floor and the ones beginning with a “2” are on the 2
floor. A mounted television comes with each room.

Shared Bath
This double occupancy room shares its connecting bath with 1108, which is a single occupancy room, so three residents share the bath. It has a great courtyard view and a walk-in closet.

Although this is the smallest room in Grant House, it is a cozy room with two large closets. This single occupancy room shares its bath with 1103, which is a double occupancy room. The bathroom for three opens to the hallway between the two rooms. 1102, 1103 and 1104 are in a “cul-de-sac” of their own, with a small study area outside the rooms.

The only triple occupancy room in Grant House, 1102 is also the largest Grant House room with the largest bath. The bath has two sinks and is very spacious. There is a large walk-in closet in the room.

Grant Single

These seven rooms are large, single occupancy rooms, all having huge walk-in closets and private baths. 1106 and 2204 face the inner courtyard. The remainder of the rooms face south towards the alley. Single rooms are great for those who like to have a quiet place to study or enjoy being able to sleep without worrying about a roommate who is still awake!

Grant Large Double

These three rooms are the largest double occupancy rooms in the house, each with their own private bath. 1109 and 2207 are at the ends of their hallways and boast huge walk-in closets which are located within their bathrooms. 2202 overlooks the inner courtyard and has one walk-in closet in the room.

Three Single Bedroom Suite
with Full Shared Bath
This suite of three bedrooms is located off the living room through a door to a private hallway, which can be locked, if desired. These three single occupancy rooms share a large bathroom in the private hallway. 1100A has a vaulted ceiling, a walk-in closet and faces the inner courtyard. 1100B has a window to the courtyard and a large closet. 1100C faces 22½ Street and also has a large closet, with a wall of windows. These rooms would be great for three friends wanting their own rooms, yet having a shared bath in their own private corner of the house.
