To bring a car or not is a personal/family decision. We are located three blocks from the UT campus and parking any closer to UT is extremely limited, so walking is the way the girls get to class. Many residents do bring their cars and they are wonderful about giving other residents rides when needed.
Parking rates and info will be in your contract packet.
We do typically lease all our spaces from year to year.
If there is ANY possibility that you will be bringing a car, please send your parking down payment check to reserve a space when you return your contract packet. If you do not request parking when you send in your contract, you may not get a space. By late May, we will send you an invoice for the balance of your parking fee. Once this balance is paid, your parking fee is only refundable if a replacement is found for your spot. If you have changed your mind about needing a spot before the invoice is paid, please let us know and we will refund your down payment or apply the amount to your account.
We place your name on our parking wait list in the order it is received and we hold your check until you hear from us in late May. At that time we will let you know if you received a parking spot through Hardin House. If you do not get a spot with us, we will return your check or apply that amount to your contract rates.
