Summer

Freshman Orientation

Send in your Pre-Housing for UT Orientation at Hardin House after you have signed up with UT and confirmed which session you will be attending.

After acceptance to The University, you will be receiving information from UT regarding its six summer orientation sessions for incoming freshmen. This year UT is requiring all freshmen to stay on campus during orientation, but they do not provide any housing for the night before orientation begins.

Whether or not you will be living with us in the fall, please join us the day before your session begins to get your first Hardin House experience! We offer double occupancy rooms and include dinner, breakfast and parking.

Staying at Hardin House is always a great opportunity to meet other Hardin House girls and take a look at your fall room.

To Register for Housing

Read the 2017 Freshman Pre-Orientation Housing Information Sheet.  Note that UT requires all freshmen to stay on campus for orientation; however, you can still come stay at Hardin House the night before your orientation begins.  This is when you get to see your fall room, or one like it!

Fill out and return the 2017 Freshman Pre-Orientation Housing Registration form for those wishing to stay at Hardin House the night before your orientation begins.  Sign up for your orientation with UT first, then mail this form to us; a contract with Hardin House is not required for orientation housing.  Some sessions fill up quickly; so we offer these spots on a space available basis.  Include a check made payable to Hardin House for $75 (or $85 if renting a linen pack) for your stay.  This fee includes a family dinner that evening.
