Apply to Live at Hardin House

Step 1: Register

  • Registering gets you on “The List”.
  • Once registered, the Hardin House team will be in regular touch with you.
    • Registering does not obligate you to live at Hardin House and does not commit you to any contracts.
    • The only commitment during this step is a non-refundable registration fee of $200.
  • We encourage early registration - the earlier you register, the higher your place ‘in line’ is for room selections.
  • You can register at any time. Some Hardin House alumni even register their daughters before grade school! But don’t worry - most registrations happen during a young woman’s high school years.

Step 2: Contract

  • In January of the student’s senior year of high school, Hardin House invites all registrants to formally apply.
  • Once the student decides they will be going to university in Austin, they are asked to commit to a housing contract for the upcoming academic year.
