A private women's dormitory since 1937, serving University of Texas Students. A tradition of quality and service for over seventy years.

Our Dormitory — complete with housemothers, housekeepers, and home-cooked meals — is the perfect place for college girls to be pampered! We are located just three blocks from The University of Texas at Austin campus.

Two Spaces Left!
Hardin House has filled its first 224 spaces in the dormitory, but has two spaces made available by young ladies attending college elsewhere. Get your application in immediately for this space!

We've also partnered with The Quarters at Karnes House to offer you what we think is the next-best-thing — living across the street in brand new, furnished apartments, no further away than Red House or Grant House!! With a dual-contract package that offers the same move-in and move-out dates as Hardin House's contract, as well as Hardin House's food, housekeeping, pools, computer rooms and more, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds! We can keep you fit with a professional-size fitness facility next door at The Quarters and cared for by our housemothers at the front desk at Hardin House. Call us now! Only one space still remains at Karnes.

Summer Orientation HousingOrientation
UT Freshman Orientation is a great way to get ready for the fall. Each summer we offer housing for freshman women, whether or not you will be living at our dorm in the fall.
Grant House Common AreaOur Summer Inn
Parents love to stay at The Quarters at Hardin House, our small summer inn much in the style of a bed and breakfast. The Quarters at Hardin House will be open from UT graduation weekend through early August.
Summer Camps and Conferences
Various departments from the University of Texas and private organizations choose to make Hardin House their summer destination when sponsoring camps or conferences. From high school cheerleaders to world-wide participants in high-level conferences, Hardin House and The Quarters at Hardin House prove to be the perfect home to them all!
